About

Joseph (Joe) Beckham is an ecumenical Christian, who has drawn from his experiences as a Southern Baptist, United Methodist (he “pestered” two churches), Assembly of God, independent charismatic and charismatic Episcopalian. “I wasn’t confused — I was just piecing together certain aspects of the Kingdom of God from each one,” he says with a smile. Joe is a practical Christian who does his best to tell it like it is, or at least as he sees it. “The Blog in the Fog” is an effort to help others find reality in Jesus Christ and to strengthen and deepen their faith in a time when confusion and perplexity is a way of life for many.

  1. I just read your blog for the first time. I was in awe of the professional level of writing, like that should have been some surprise that it was. You are cetainly in your element when it comes to sharing sound biblical truths through the written word (with a sensical approach for common ol’ boys like me), perhaps even more so than one on one. (A compliment… not a criticism.) Anyway, I look forward to catching up on some archives and future posts as well.

      • Hi Joe,
It was an honor to meet you the other day in Birmingham. I am about halfway through your book and lovin’ it! Thanks for giving it to me. I look forward to reading your blog. The way you write really speaks to my heart. I love the combination of scholarly insight, biblical foundations and humor!

  2. writing like christian quantum mystic. Great thoughts tie together in the gospels. thanks for sharing insights with us.

      • Thanks, Mike. That’s very kind. I appreciate your comments. My aim is to reach everyone with the simplicity of the truth. Solomon wrote, “God made man simple, but by many devices he has gone astray.” The God of the universe is inexplicably awesome in all His ways, yet He condescends to the lowest seeker.

  3. Hi Mr. Beckham,

Do you have an email address or a way of getting in touch with you by chance?
I have a few questions for you.

    Thanks,

    Beth Eaton
